New Panteg traveled to Glyncoch last Saturday and lost their last preseason friendly before the league starts next week
The home side started the stronger scoring a well worked try after 5 mins
The Teg boys then seem to wake up, and kept Glyncoch in their own half for most of the period but, were unable to score squandering several opportunities to open their account, before theglyncoch scored a breakaway try right on half time.
Stern words from the Panteg coaches at half time must of done the trick as Panteg started off attacking at every chance they got and it wasn't long before centre Tai was worked clear and scored under the posts Daryl Carter added the conversion.
A timely interception by Tai, when Glyncoch looked likely to score, saw him race up the field and shake off several would be tacklers before giving the ball to Cameron Allcock who showed good strength to cross the try line Carter again added the extras
Instead a kicking on and sealing the game Panteg seemed to tire, and alow the home team to score three unanswered converted tries before the final whistle.
It was tougher test for the youngsters this week, but should put them in good stead for next weeks league game against Tredegar
