New Panteg were pushed all the way by Forgeside in this scrappy encounter.

Early in the second half an infingment in the red zone saw the Forgside scrum half sin binned which allowed Gwatkin to add three points.
This was quickly cancelled out when the home team kicked another penalty, the match was turning into a real dog fight, but it was Panteg who scored next when scrum half Ethan Winstone broke blind from a scrum 10 metres out to claim the try.
But Forgside didn't lie down they forced their way back upfield and when Panteg infringed Parry was on hand to slot another penalty.
With four points seperating the two sides the last few minutes were going to be intense, but it was Panteg's outside half Alex Gwatkin who stepped up to the plate with a well struck drop goal from 40 metres which put the visitors 7 points clear. The final whistle came shortly after.
