The final game of the season was played in tropical conditions and a party atmosphere, as Teg celebrated their promotion to division 3. Bedwellty arrived depleted but determined, and showed their class by joining a guard of honour for two Teg retirees. Centre Dafydd Heneghan signed off with two terrific tries, and a promise to have a few run outs for the Steelers next season. Former captain and powerhouse prop Matt Gibbs also made a promise, to throw his boots in the river!! Gibbo has been a tremendous servant over the last couple of centuries, and is rumoured to have gone to school with Moses.....
